Dear Horizon Parents,
I was one of the first founders of Horizon Int’l. After working 4 years in Yangon, I was transferred to Mandalay to open a new branch in 2004. Having achieved that target and leading Mandalay branch successfully for 4 years, I was transferred back to Yangon to fill the place of Mr. Serkan Akar who is working as a principal in The Maldives currently. I really appreciate his contribution into Horizon Int’l for eight years and wish him success in his new assignment. Besides, I’m thrilled and happy to be a part of the teaching team and staff here in Yangon.
I have a dream: There is a school where all the students are enthusiastic and ready to learn. They have new adventures with their teachers almost daily. They are self-motivated with lots of initiative. They study day and night. You don’t need to supervise them much. They know their responsibilities well. They know why they attend an international school and what their parents’ expectations are for them. They are never satisfied with their textbooks. They are bookworms. They are regular attendants of the library. They always look for some extra resources to study or to read. They are never satisfied with what they’ve learnt. They always go the extra mile.
Besides they are very sociable. They never ignore to do some sports. They spare some time to play football, basketball, table-tennis etc. They are extraverts whom would enjoy being with others while having a cup of tea or coffee, watching a basketball match, solving a math problem or spending a Sunday at school for extra work..
They are helpful towards their friends, parents and the society they live in. If their friends are in difficulties, they get pleasure by giving them a hand. They organize fund-raising activities to help people in need. They are respectful to their teachers, too. They are quite hard-working and not ready to give up easily against a challenge. They are critical thinkers. They don’t take matters for granted easily.
I have a dream: There is a school where the teachers are good role models. They are always ready to help their students. They are enthusiastic and energetic. They love teaching as well as learning. They always think big and try to improve the quality of instructions. They love their students and show respect to them. They are very tolerant and patient towards the students’ faults. They sacrifice their time, many things from their life and pleasure without any return just to make a better future for their students. They are the real heroes. They read a lot.
I have a dream: There is a school where students, teachers and staff are happy to be a part of it. It has large labs and offers variety of extra-curricular activities. Everybody there has big dreams, too. Students there believe in themselves. They participate in international competitions and win prizes.
I believe Horizon Int’l is the place where all these dreams may one day come true. May all our dreams come true one day…
With your endless support to have a brighter future together…
