Horizon PE Department conducted an inter-classes Futsal (Mini-Football) tournament for girls on 18-22 August, 2008. Futsal games are usually played indoors with 5 players per team. The Girls Tournament took place on the Basketball court.  Girls from all grades participated enthusiastically. It was quite exciting to see the young, active students playing with team spirit, coordination and agility. Horizon wishes to improve the mental and physical strength and fitness of our students. By taking part in the games, students develop their motion, vision, problem solving, and learning skills. The PE Department is also arranging an inter-classes Futsal Boys Tournament for the week of 25-29 August, 2008.
There were three categories in the girls tournament:

1. Category A --Grade 1 to Grade 2
2. Category B -- Grade 3 to Grade 5
3. Category C -- Grade 6 to Grade 8
