Mathemania is a Puzzle challenge for Secondary and High level students in Myanmar. This event is organized by HIEC Math Department both in Yangon and Mandalay. Participants take a written puzzle test for one and half hours at Horizon International Education Center.
Purpose:
It is intended to assess students’ visual skills, adeptness at connecting pictures spatially, figuring out patterns among numbers and pictures, cracking codes, solving Sudoku puzzles…etc. This test consists of 20 questions of difficulty levels.
Mathemania has gained its popularity last year when it was initiated for the first time in Myanmar by HIEC. It is open for Grade 5 to Grade 12 students. Exam date is 17th and 18th of November 2007. |
