With our movement education approach to teaching gymnastics we are easily able to accommodate beginners of all ages into our programs.
How many children are in each class? And how many classes are in the gym at a time?
We allow a maximum of 3 to 4 classes in the gym at a time depending on the ages of the participants. Our instructor to participant ratio is 1:8 for our Preschool and Kinder programs and 1:9 ratio for classes with school aged children. Usually there are 15 to 20 students in each program.
Where are you located? Where can I park?
We are located in the Myanmar Timber Enterprise Main Store Engineering Department Kannar (Strand) Road, (west) Saw Yan Pine Ahlone Township. You can park in front of our gymnasium.
What kind of snacks can my child bring if they have a break during their class?
Children should bring fruits, crackers, juices etc for their break. Children are not allowed to bring any kind of peanut product into the gym due to the severe peanut allergies in same children.
What to wear?
Comfortable clothing required such as T-shirts, shorts or sweat pants. We recommend bare feet to aid in the learning process, however socks are allowed as well. Other items such as jeans, skirts, shoes are not allowed in the gymnastics part of the gym. We also demand that children do not wear watches, jewelry (of any type) when taking classes.
Which group my child will be in?
New students to HGS with previous gymnastics experience will need to be tested for proper placement in our program. Please contact the office to arrange an evaluation. This is a quick evaluation and will help us place your child in a relevant class depending on their level. Students who are not yet ready to move on to the next level should enroll in which they last participated.
